Although I've been lucky enough to almost always have healthcare, I watched my best friend, who died at the age of 30, go through breast cancer treatment and worry every day that she wouldn't be covered. Although I've had great healthcare most of my working adult life, the cost of that care has contributed to lower salaries and pay over the years as companies have had to pay more and more to cover employees. Although many naysayers are against healthcare reform, we must do something before it bankrupts our country in the future.
